Nära och Kära,
Well I have a new companion already. Its very weird to think that S.Erickson, S.Jenson, E.Deleeuw, and E.Shear (my first 2 distict leaders) are all home. Life goes on though. So far... I'm loving this new chapter! I learn a lot with S.Schneiber. We have set a lot of goals that really push us. Its great to have someone around the same level in the language too. Teaching with Syster Schneiber comes so naturally. We work together very well. We also really love each other! So sometimes we have find we have to focus a little bit, but we are both very motivated and want to be obedient so its never hard to switch our focus and not have any hard feelings. The ward, investigators, area, and everything really changes when you bring in a new person. I think Syster Schneiber might be exactly what this area needs. She has brough so much energy to the work.
Syster Schneiber is from Connecticut and she reminds me a lot of Shae. I think thats why we get along so well. She is even short like... shae short haha with shortish brown hair. She is actually a nurse. She graduated right before the mission from BYU Idaho. Surprising she made it out of there not married. I feel she has really made me want to be a nurse. I know I still want to be a Pre-School teacher, but I really enjoy working in the medical field. More and more I find it so interesting. She is also a runner. She is convinced that I could be too, but we'll see. Right now we are planning on running every other day and P90X the others. Can you believe it mom??? She does P90X already. Man I love her. I also think you would get along with her mother. Who knows though.
We still meet with Manal and Kanaan, her husband, he isn't as ready as she is. Saturday we met with just her and committed her to baptism. She said yes, but wants to finish the Book of Mormon. I know she has been prepared and it will come for her. Now all we need is to focus on Kanaan and how we can help him know its true. Its hard when someone doesn't believe in God, but he is open and we now he feels the spirit. We also meet with Lennarts brother. Lennart is an awesome member here in Alingsås. He takes such good care of us missionaries. His brother though said he will get baptized too so tomorrow we'll try to set a date with him.
Conference is coming up and its all I can think about. Especially because S.schneiber has conference talks on her ipod that we listen to during breakfast. Oh I can't wait! Yesterday we listened to Elder Oaks talk on Desires. Its so so good. We had a seriously awesome day yesterday. A member here invited us over for dinner and had one of my old investigators from Västra Fölunda there! Agh!! So cool. I was wearing the earings she made me for my birthday. She was happy to see me and I think we were able to help her a lot. She is having a really hard time quitting smoking, but wants to be baptized. The best part is this summer she is moving to Utah for a year and I plan on seeing her when I am home and she is there.
Thank you for all your effort and hard work.
