HEJ PÅ ER!
Man it felt so good to call home! Even if its like crazy all over
the place with skype and the number doesn't work and it takes 25
minutes. Its so worth it! Just hearing all of your voices was a huge
blessing. Thanks for all the wonderful questions. I even feel tons
closer to my companion now, S.Schneiber :) We both listened to
each others phone calls home. I don't know that we need to be any closer
haha I already feel like she is a best friend and I could say anything
to her. She called Saturday night because it worked better and she gave
me good ideas for questions home. Like blessings my family have recieved
since I've been on a mission.
This week has been very rainy and very good. We worked a lot with
helping members and were excited to have 4 really good member teaches.
We almost had 3 baptismal dates. We are hoping this week to set a date
with at least two of them. Solomon is a friend of Manal that left to
Lebanon and Lennart is an old investigator that is super positive. He is
almost done reading the Book of Mormon! It was nice to call home and
speak to our families. It can be a little stressful with those cards we
have to buy but it works. I even taught some people over the phone about
who God is. I guess these little kids had asked that morning but they
hadn't answered because I called so I was able to answer them and
challenge to have personal prayers. I think these 3 little kids will
never forget that. I love sharing the message of the gospel! What I love
about being a missionary is you learn to teach very simply for people. I
also realized what it is I love about Syster Schneiber. She is never
satisfied with mediocre. She is always striving for the best and I learn
a lot from her.
The mission has come up with a new goal so that we are motivated to
have baptisms. Its called the summer of 70 or in other words its S.O.S
haha I like it. We are shooting to get 70 baptisms before July 18th.
Thank you for your love and support.
Love Syster Sprague
