Summer is HERE!!

dear family and friends!
well! this week has been as marvelous as ever :)  Let me just say summer came and it came fast. Last week it rained. This week it was sunnnny! Almost too sunny for sys sprague and me. We are so used to the cold. But with the sun comes more people! It feels like the town has doubled!
Okej.. soooo syster schneiber and I are going to write this letter together due to a computer shortage :)

Alingsås has been so nice and we had amazing streak of member teaches. It was almost one everyday. The coolest part was that three of them are members friends that have been invited by the friend. This week we are meeting two more. The way this ward has shot up is astounding. Sometimes I feel like I never want to leave. I almost don't want to teach without a member they bring so much to the table that we simply cannot. Those investigators need them. As we continue our focus we are hoping all of our numbers go up especially new people as member are invovled and find new people for us and people in sacrament because our investigators we have noticed are more likely to come because they already know someone who will be there. Our studies have been great. We spoke in companionship inventory what we can do better and that would be our language study. It seems that is the easiest thing to look over or push to the end of the day and then never get to it. So we are fitting it in and we hope to maybe meet with someone once a week for it and that way if we have questions we can ask a swede direct.

some fun moments from the week!
this week we went on a double date! haha ok not really. S.Schneiber went with Pär (the to be investigator) and I went with our fabulous to be missionary Viktor!  Viktor has grown up with Pär and asked him if he wanted to meet up. We had fika (a little snack) outside of a cafe and got to know Pär. He thinks mormon girls are cool ! haha He has asked Viktor about the church a lot.. so we are hoping he becomes more intereseted in the church than us.
Viktor has a little syster who is having a hard time with the church. Sofia! We love her. She is super cute. We finally were able to meet up and have ice cream. (perfect for this hot weather).  It was amazing!!! She opened up and told us about whats going on in her life now and what happened that made her start going in-active. She is a really strong girl. We have convinced her to go to EFY!!!!! WAHOOO!! We secretly want to go with her ;) you think the president would approve? S.Schneiber feels lucky to be my companion because I have had a similar time period in my life where I went less active. That morning before we went out she asked me if I had told Sofia about me life. I looked at her with some hesitation... nooo and i dont really want to. It can be hard to describe your past especially why I would choose to work on Sundays. But, as we sat there... the ice cream must have loosened me up because out came my story! It was actually a really good reminder to myself of why I am active and see that I am happier.
WE PLAYED KUBB!!!!!!! for district meeting on wednesday. It was a good thing S.Schneiber was there because we didnt quite remember all the rules. S.Schneiber has actually been to Sweden when she was younger and I guess her family still plays. Someday maybe I can show you guys. It kind of like a game of horse shoes... you throw wood to knock down the other teams wood haha.
I have seen so many spiders this last week. Ugh I can't say that I am thrilled. We leave our windows open all the time now because a lot of places or most don't have air conditioning and its just too hot when you live on the top floor. But our consequence is spiders! I see atleast one a day now.. man before I thought they like followed me but then I have noticed or my companions have noticed haha that I am a very observant person. But then last Sunday we were in sunday school and someone said there was a spider I look down and its right between my feet. AGH!!! Not cool! I don't get it. How have a developed this magnetic thing to spiders?? I would still have to say there was one worse as I was praying on my bed and it came down right about to my head from the window up above (we live in basically the attic so the window is in the ceiling) So gross!!!

Yesterday was Mothers Day here in Sweden so I will just say Happy Mothers Day again. Yesterday I really wanted to call home becasue of it. Terrible. We were all given a rose after Sacrament meeting. It was quite sweet. Then we went out after chruch and gave a rose to those women who weren't in church but that still need to be apprectiated. It felt really good to say thanks to so many mothers and talk about how much mothers do for us. We left a spiritual thought with one woman Alma 48:11-13,17 but instead imagine mom and her children rather than Moroni haha man I know my mom does this for me. She cares for my welfare and my safety and works hard that I am happy and can reach my potential! I love you Mom!!
Love Syster Sprague
