Hejsan!!
Well here we are again.. I don't even
understand how time moves so fast. Its been wonderful here. The work is
going great! We had a serious miracle happen this week. We stopped just
to play on a little play ground on our way home and right then a 15 year
old girl named Love came up to us. She is a members daughter but she
herself is not a member and we sat and talked to us for a while. She
just started to open up to us telling us about her hard life. We pull
out the scriptures and (my comp) S.J. wanted to share something and was like
hmmm I hope I can find it. She opens The Book of Mormon and opens right
to 3 Nephi 12:16 "let your light so shine." Exactly where she wanted to
read! This girl has been through a lot and yet her face was just beaming
and her smile was so sincere. She told us she actually used to worship
satan but now she doesn't. We got her number and she said she would love
to meet us this week. I can't wait!! My focus in PMG has been in chap 2
and I just finished. Its all about studying and applying what you learn
to yourself. It was great!!! It is so important to actually take in
what you learn and apply it because how do we teach it and preach it if
we don't live it?? Haha I should go back and count how many times it
said .. apply this to you.. a lot!
Our baptismal dates didn't make it to church which is
really sad. One fell asleep, Princella, and the other, John, we will be
seeing tomorrow. We have no idea why John missed yet. Princella is doing
really well we actually just asked her if we can do a zero lesson on
her sambo, boyfriend, and see how that goes. She felt totally
comfortable with that. We can't wait. He is swedish named Frans and has
been reading in the Book of Mormon. He says his favorite part of the
chuch is the people. He is so so sweet. He was in church last Sunday
though and the speaker said something about how she believes in Joseph
Smith and has a testimony of him no matter what he has done. Frans is
really stuck on that and wants to know read a book about Joseph Smith
that was writen by a non-member. We are hoping he won't or if not will
be super careful.. :( We'll see what happens there.
I love everyday I wake up! S.J. is amazing! We had our
meeting with our ward mission leader and he said he became happy just
seeing us so happy. Its honestly so easy to be happy with her though. He
said he remembers a companion he had like that and they would hug every
morning. Haha were not quite that far but I do love her and we hope to
be friends a long time.
I hope you like the picture I sent. We had a member on the
teach and she took it. We are setting up a calender for him to get
baptized. Well this member was like do you always force your
investigators haha I guess she felt it was forced but he is ready
really!
I love the ward here. It feels I've been here a while
actually. We had a member totally SAVE us this week. My bike totally
fell apart and there is standing a member with home made rolls for us
and she had no idea why she went out for flour but she literally saved
us when we were already desperate and late for dinner with a broken
bike. I love the Holy Ghost and the fact that he guides all of us!!
