Yes.. one year already...

Hej

Happy Anniversary to myself haha.. yes the time has gone so so so fast and I love and and hate it. My anniversary also means Happy 4th of July!!! Today isn't technically a P-day because we made our 2000 strippling contacts haha and so we get to have party on Thursday. So we get have a P-day today and half on Thursday.. kinda interesting but it works. So I heard its super dry over there?? Wow I need to give you some water.. we only have a little here haha. I think it rains atleast once a day. They say its been the most wet its been in 150 years. Crazy haha. Cool though.. remember how I didn't want to go somewhere hot. This can only show how much God really loves me and didn't want me to die in the hot swedish sun.

I can't even describe how our week turned out so wonderfully. We had so much to do and everything just fell in place where we could work with it. We did splits with Västra Frölunda that went absolutely great. Even though I have been with S.Mackey before I feel like when you have 3rd companion you really don't have the same relationship. I learned a lot from her. She is a really good example of planning while you go and calling and just keeping going. I appreciate her fire and love for the people. Her and S.Tanner really just want to give it there all at the last of there mission. They go home in less then 3 weeks now. Watching them go is showing me how fast the time goes and helps me to appreciate my time here. anniversary

We traveled to Stockholm this week to be apart of zone leader counsel. While we were there a missionary got home and released there. He came into the meeting before he was released and bore strong testimony of the gospel. He really loved his mission and you could see he was nervous to have to be released. Man that is intense. We had the chance to stay the night and visit the Stockholm temple. Had a wonderful time there. In the temple I realized that for one person there it was his first time. We found him after and spoke to him. I would have to say that I am quite against knocking on doors but sometimes that is exactly what the Lords needs us to do to find his children in need. This man actually died and needed to find someone to speak about it. He went around to many churches looking and just didn't feel the good feelings he had when he died.. so then one day he saw a tv show. From sweden to heaven or Från Sverige till Himlen. He saw a clip from the Church of Jesus Christ and knew he needed to find it. He went online and couldn't find it anywhere. You know what he did... ?? Prayed! Just 2 days later the Elders knocked on his door ready to tell him everything and explain everything. Wow. This man only died 3 years ago and everything is still very fresh.. he cried as he expressed what happened to him. Can I just tell you.. The spirit just about knocked me over! Heavenly Father really loves everyone of us and leads others in our path to help us.

I was happy that even with a sleep over with the Västerhanige sisters we were really good about going to bed and getting up to exercise. Its nice too.. when you have someone more at your level of working out. S.Schneiber only gets to run every other day with me and she may do it more is she could. We are doing wonderfully though. We work very well together and feel we have made a friend for the rest of our lives. I will never forget my time with S.Schneiber but I also feel like we are going to soon be transferred and we actually are okay and feel prepared to do that. We were all feeling really comfortable in our areas and with our companions but splits showed us that sometimes you need a challenge and realize that the Lord is really the one behind our strength and ability. I think getting to comfortable can be bad I've realized. Then I don't grow.. and I want to keep growing till the end! Anyway we had a wonderful week and are doing all we can to find 2 who are ready to be baptized because for whatever reason that was the number we gave at zone leader counsel. Haha it will be good. We feel like thats what can happen. So keep us in prayers. PS Lennart didn't get baptized. Not sure what to do when someone denies their testimony. Oh well :(

With much love Syster Sprague
