How in the world??

Nära och Kära!

The most teaches I have ever had happened this week. I really have no idea how it happened. The Lord really did bless us. We would be going with an investigator and there comes a member! Most of our teaches were with members. I was absolutely shocked. S.J. is such a blessing. She says she wants to stay with me until I die which would be awesome. We work so well together and I feel like we could do a lot here in Västerhaninge. We'll see what the president does though.

We had our meeting with our ward mission leader and spoke about our investigator Liisa, and we wondered how we would invite her to church or remind her. Syster Newell was coming to our ward just for her so...We decide its best if we go by her. So we leave the meeting all together and head to an appt and there is Liisa! We were able to just meet her naturally and teach her and invite her to church. The best is our mission leader and Louise were with us. I feel like it strengthened both of them and their faith that the Lord really is the on in control and the leader. Louise is serving a short term mission here in a month and she has done splits with us every week since I got here. She is going to be an awesome tool here in Sweden!

I just started in Jakobs book this week and just loving it. Jakob 4:3 shows me how important scriptures really are and to record our own experiences down. The best part of the verse is that they write so that people may have the knowledge of the past and accept it with happiness. Haha i'm not sure how it is said in english right now but that is how I took it. It gives me good reason to take time in my journal because they took the time to ingrave on plates which was NOT easy. I actually haven't been the best at writing in my journal and I already kick myself for it so i'm hoping now I will be better at it.

Our focus this week was on committing people to baptism and confirmation and I read through and really tried to apply something new. I read on the back of PMG on the last remember this and it says we should have daily contact with our investigators. So that is what we have done this week. We have seen a huge change in our progressing investigators and the ones that maybe don't want to move anywhere right now. It has been amazing. Because of this change our teaches have been better, shorter, and I believe she is now more comfortable setting a baptismal date. The best is because we have so much contact she also gets to know the members because we always have a member with us. This ward is so awesome! We had 6 people come to church and the ward just jumped to help! Loved it! ,Our investigators we see everyday are doing really well. Both Maria and Ronald should get a baptismal date this week. They are loving the Book of Mormon and coming to church. Maria's two children are both members and the one is now inactive but her daughter, Stefhany, says she wants to serve a mission possibly. We are loving seeing them everyday. S.J's spanish is coming back because of it too so thats cool.

I felt a little bad on Wednesday when we had a specialized training haha basically a zone conference and I told everyone that they should not be tracting. It was like super super bold. Nothing I myself would say but I felt that it needed to be said. I really do wonder how many times prophets have to say that trakting is a last resort before people stop doing it. I feel like until that happens and until we start working with the members the second harvest will not happen. So right now I feel like its just a beginning. I feel that it is real though an I have faith that it is here. Agh I love being here and pumping people up. Västerhaninge is an awesome area for it too. The members are just ready to help. Love it!!!

Thanks for the help and prayers. I really do appreciate the support.

Love Syster Sprague
