Sister missionaries are Shazam:)

Hej hej,

Today is 6 weeks! I can't even believe it. The time here moves so differently. It's like soon i'lll be home and i've hardly began. Talk about wierd. My companions are pretty excited about all of it and it just makes me nervous when i think about leaving the counry soon. haha but i am super excited too. Syster ridl the other day got her one and only package (ill send a pic) no lie its 40lbs and she flew here so she is already at her max. I dont know what she was thinking ahaha but it was a fun day thats for sure.

This week was really good. We had one really odd day.. um Monday we had to teach one of our progressive investigators, Ishmael, we only contacted him and gave him the book of Mormon. So this was a first time teaching.. keep in mind we have been doing everything in Swedish for weeks now ahaha so yeah this was just sad. My teacher Bro. Ahola (from Finland) was playing Ishmael and basically we had him pray.. He put his head down and none of us could remember how to ask him to do it out loud. Oh boy.. He prayed IN SILENCE for 4 minutes. The worst part was my teacher sat his head up and LAUGHED. We ended the lesson and had sister ridl pray.. he laughed during that too. Talk about the weirdest thing to happen since we were here. Yesterday was AWESOME for teaching though. We have an investigator named Blu and the lesson was so so good! He doesn't speak Swedish so teaching him is seriously hard! especially when we struggle for words haha.

My quote that I love this week was from sister hill and its, "Live your life so that those who know you  but dont know Christ, will want to know Christ because they know you." Then last night at the devotional Sister Wixom and her husband talked about becoming the saviors best friend. She also says sister missionaries are Shazam :) Well one question they had was how can you believe? If you are doing everything you're supposed to (being good boys and  good girls) you will become his best friend and how can you not believe?
An Elder in my district got a letter from his dad and I love what his Dad wrote to him. As much as this is specific to me this applies to everyone! He says, "I've recently become convinced that life is a game, and that (the players) have a divine purpose or objective in playing. In the great instruction manuals that accompany this game (the prophets and scriptures) the primary objective is given in this brief line, "men are that they might have joy." Keep your focus on this target! Satan tries to deceive the players into thinking that the objectives something else he will try to deceive you, and he is trying to deceive the good people of Sweden. He will say that the object of the game is to accumulate stuff, to be accepted by others, to have a comfortable and easy existence, or to never experience pain and adversity. The creator of the game wisely built into the game experiences that can be drawn like cards, all of which have the same intent to help us learn principles, gain experience, and enhance relationships:Combining for one eternal purpose that we might have joy. etc

I'm sorry if I don't always write you every week. I'm sorry for last week Kashea! I Love you though!

Love you all! Thank you for all the letters :)

Love Syster Sprague
