Hejsan,
Hur är det med dig?? So crazy day.. Seems most of the p-days here have been. It always starts out a normal day. Then nothing ever goes as planned haha. Guess thats what the spirit is for:) One thing a missionary must be with their schedule though is flexible. The patience thing comes eventually. If you've ever taken the color personality test before and know them pretty well.. well I have always been a blue like min momma haha with some yellow of course. In high school that came out a bit more. Really not much white or red though. Holy am I a different person now! I'm a pretty good mix but mostly white. This missionary stuff.. haha love it!
You know people said there would be days where your like WAY down and days where your WAY up. I was afraid it would be like a roller coaster, although i do love those, I really was not excited for that. Oh also that a mission is super awkward. Nej! It's only awkward if you make it. As for the roller coaster, I could hit rock bottom in the winter. They say depression here hits everyone. I've been lucky thus far though. Some days are hard to be positive. Yesterday was hard. We found a boy, he is 18, and when we went to visit him the first time he was leaving and said my parents are inside go ahead and knock. His mom wanted nothing to do with us and asked us to not speak to her son again. We never even gave him the book of mormon. We also had a recent convert tell us he won't be coming to church anymore.
Today was good though! We got invited over for a member dinner. Love this family! We took the bus over there and met an amazing girl that is super interested. So cross your fingers!! :) Prayers would be good too! AGH Rachel you know how I hold my thumbs.. I was told here in Sweden that's what they do instead of crossing their fingers. I guess all this time I was in need of luck or something.
I'm sooo excited!!! Were teaching a whole family and the dad knows everything is true. Now were mostly teaching his kids and wife. I really hope that goes somewhere. Halmstad really needs it. Tonight at dinner Carolina, the wife, says she feels like they will close Halmstad again. Not cool. S. Kiser and me really want to double stay here together. We'll see. We found out that our transfer date has been moved up. So its in 2 weeks. AGH I'm not going to be the greenie anymore. AGH!!
I get to go to DENMARK! whoo whoo. On Wednesday our district is going to the temple. I seriously cannot wait! Its going to be a really long day though. We may have to stay in Lund two nights. Crazyness.
Obedience is key :)
Love love love you all!!
Love Syster Sprague
