No more transfers!!

Well hello again,

Its been a long week. Definitely the longest since I started my mission. So Tuesday we got a phone call and the zone leaders had something big to tell everyone. (the new president keeps everyone on their toes) The zone leader informed us that there are no more transfers after the one that is going on tomorrow. We would get a phone call Saturday telling us if we move and then you would move Wednesday. He moved up the date so I guess the new greenies came a week early. Ha ha how fun. Saturday was just painful. S.Kiser and I were waiting all day to find out if we were being transferred.  I have been feeling very discouraged lately.. so yeah. We got the call and found out we are staying in Halmstad together. It was an intense day that's for sure. I do love Halmstad so I am happy to stay here. So basically no more 9 week transfers.. people move when new ones are coming in and old are leaving and then other than that it is totally guided by the spirit. I love my mission president! The only thing is you could end up in an area with the same companion a LONG time.

We have a new young woman in the ward who is here as foreign exchange student. Guess what dad?? She is from Lander Wyoming and she knows where worland is, but not sundance. She is so sweet. We even got to teach the family she is staying with. Were hoping something comes from that. She is here for a year and will be a really good influence in their home. Anyway she says hi dad. She thinks its cool that you're from Wyoming.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAMI! I'm so sorry I missed it. Now its been forever. Sorry. I meant to write and it never happened. I hope it was good :) LOVE YOU! You need to write me and tell me whats going on. ha ha and I will do my best to write you too.

Okay so can I just say I don't like 1 thing about Sweden. They don't have the nutritional facts on their food!!! Man that is frustrating. I NEED to know what I'm eating. I really do love all the food I have eaten here though. Nothing to me seems that odd. Although they eat sandwiches with no top piece of bread.. that just makes the sandwich hard to eat ha ha.

Congrats Tina and Jake!!! I'm so happy they are getting married. They are both the sweetest people and so good for each other. I bet Jake parents are SO excited! They get to go see him go through the temple! We taught someone last week the importance of temple and families. It really is like my favorite subject to talk about in the Church. People get so excited about it. Its one of the things that really stands out from other churches for people. Something they want to be apart of too. Ha ha I almost forgot... after my emails last week s.kiser wanted to go dress shopping.. so we did. She found her wedding dress!! 5th dress she put on. It was crazy!

So the weather here is crazy. It rains everyday. Not just rain either. It pours and then the sun comes out 2 minutes later and then rains again. You can never guess what the weather is going to be like. Its fun ha ha. Mostly because I love rain and I've been dying of heat since I got here I can't wait for it to get cold.

Well the missionary work in Halmstad is slow but the few investigators we have are really cool. One of them is 17 and has been going to seminary for 2 years. She just found it online and was interested. She is pretty golden. The only problem is she is can't get baptized until she is 18 because her mom is against it. Her birthday is Oct 6th :) l hope I'm still here in a month. You never know.. now we could get a call any Saturday. Keeps you on your toes that's for sure. Yeah this girl is a real sweetheart and the few young women we have here all look up to her. Its amazing. I was teasing her on Sunday that she will end up serving a mission ha ha but she is so so so shy. She just laughed at me.

Love you all:)
Love Syster Sprague
