Committed!

Hej hej,

So another week has gone by. Well almost. Last week was a little weird having p-day on Tuesday. It made the week go fast though. Just a change of pace was nice. Oh fun day Thursday. We got to go to Göteborg :) and we met a whole bunch of missionaries by complete accident. 7 to be exact. Crazy and cool. That day was full of little miracles. Finding them and finding members too. That just does not happen in Sweden or maybe just Halmstad. There are so few members, but we met 2 on Thursday. Amazing.

So Saturday was kind of a rough day for my companion which in turn makes the day hard for me. It was intense too because we were planning 4 teaches and 2 of them had baptismal commitments. The one turned into a lesser commitment but it was right for her. We got blåsted (they dropped us) on one of the teaches, which btw is a made up word. It is neither English or Swedish haha just some missionary came up with it and it stuck. I'm surprised how many words there are like that actually. Anyway.. it really wasn't his fault we needed a member to go with us and NO ONE could come. We called people for 2 days. Agh.. how nice it would be to have a big ward. He was going to bring a friend and no one could come with him. We are hoping that this week we can figure something out.

The best part of the day was the teach with the baptismal commitment. My first one! The family is super positive and the kids are just amazing. I love them. The father has already been baptized though and doesn't think that doing it again is a good idea. I really don't have much time to write and finish the story like I would like. but basically were going to talk about it this next Saturday. Its frustrating they can only meet once a week.

Mom can you give me your new friends info so I can see if she is in my area. I think you said her name is Jenny. Also can you email my stuff to Dillon. He asked his mom to email me and it was so nice to hear from a fellow missionary.. is Sam getting mine? and Jess?  I'm sorry I ask for so much. your amazing though!!! S.Kiser loves that you write me and email me. She really does want to meet my amazing mother.

Randy and Becky Johnson: Thank you for emailing me!! I loved hearing from you and getting a referral. That is awesome that he seemed interested. I really hope I can meet him. I was actually going to go down to Malmö today but its raining a lot so a sports day will have to wait for next week. The thing is that is in my zone but I think if I were to meet him it would have to be like on my p-day which if my companion doesn't mind then we will do it next week. I would just need the rest of the info. If you can mail it asap or even email then at least I will have it if I'm ever down there. It is where we have zone conference. Oh and yes this country is very very beautiful. Halmstad is absolutely gorgeous. They do still say hej då but it means like bye-bye! You could say hej, hejsan, or hallå. I like hej hej. Its just super friendly.

Dad has a beard!! what the? Who all hiked timp with you then? The pictures were beautiful. You saw a moose. very cool. S.kiser is sick from all the rain we have here. You are right mom. Depending on your perspective things can seem amazing or the exact opposite. The trick is trying to get your perspective to be what you want it to be. love you all. gtg sorry

Love Syster Sprague
