Another Monday

Hejsan,
Sorry I didn't write yesterday. We had a crazy p-day. Mostly just on train rides. We went down to Malmö to play games with the district. 2 hours there and 2 hours back. But it gave me time to write letters and that is always nice. Oh and get to know our district leader and his greenie. Its so nice not to be the greenie anymore. Though not a whole lot has changed because I'm still with my trainer ha ha.
So Halmstad is really rainy. S.kiser was sick for almost 2 weeks and she got it from being out in the rain. Soon it was passed onto me. The only bad thing really about being sick is you can't shake every ones hand. So you just stand there and it feels super weird. Also our investigator on Saturday couldn't have us come inside because I was sick. She gets really really sick when she catches anything not sure what disease she has ha ha she said it in Swedish. She is also very hard to understand because she has a thick southern accent. Here they call it skåna. Yuck its ugly sounding. Haha sure is fun though. Its like the beautiful Swedish language with a danish accent.
So our week went pretty well. Had a good number of teaches and some are really progressing. Our main problem though is no one comes to church. So sad. Sundays are so crazy. S.Kiser about died this last Sunday. We got a call at 9 am asking us to teach young women's. We told him we couldn't because we were presenting the ward mission plan during the same block. He called back and said he wasn't sure about that but he just spoke to the bishop and we were talking in sacrament. Ha ha you should have seen S.Kiser... pretty much... not happy. Its okay though we ended up not having to. We will be speaking every 2nd Sunday after this month though. Kinda cool actually. They want us to speak on missionary work every month.
I saw a hedgehog!! Actually 2 now but this one I petted with my foot and got pictures of it. It was hiding under our stairs to get into our apartment. Cute little animals. I have yet to see any moose, reign deer, or polar bears though. My guess is I'm too far south.
It was so exciting! I got a letter from my Grandma in Idaho. They have been redoing lots on their house. I'm sad to hear my mom got them a dog and they had to take it to the pound almost the same day. I hope Daphne is okay. You guys should just buy a bird and one that can talk. That could be fun!
Well I don't want to be on long since its not my p-day. Thank you for all the support and prayers. I know I have been blessed with a wonderful family and wonderful friends. It's a wonder why I'm not homesick but I do miss all of you. THANK YOU!! Being on a mission has made me into a much better person and I can't wait to continue the change. Rely on the Lord and all things are possible. As my dad would say.. Work like its all up to you and Pray like its all up to the Lord.
Love Syster Sprague
