Hello!!
This week has been so amazing!! Its hard to even explain everything. My companions are amazing. I wish I had another word for everything here but amazing pretty much does it. Ha ha their names are S. Juker and S. Jensen. Love them. Its fun to be in a 3 sum companionship again. This place is so much fun but getting my email done is almost impossible. There are a lot of missionaries in our area and so they all meet here at the institute center to hang out on P-day.
I moved on Wednesday and went on a train all by myself. It was definitely weird. My companions and all the elders were very welcoming. We are center missionaries too. So we spend like half of our time at the institute and half our time proselyting. There is always so much going on here. I love it. My studies have been amazing too! I feel like everything is much more focused. Ha ha amazing.
Saturday was Zone conference. It went over because the President tells really long stories ha ha so everything gets really pushed back. We almost missed our interviews. He has fun stories though. Stake conference was this weekend and that was fun. We got to sing as sisters in Zion in Swedish. Very fun. We had an investigator with us that learned a lot. He started asking us about the book of Mormon and looking up things in Alma and showing us where you can find similar verses in the bible. He really knows the bible and I guess he hasn't been open to the book. So it was exciting. I'm still learning all the people we meet with and their history and concerns and things. It will take some time. There are so many. Not only do we have all our investigators, members, less-actives, but we have our young single adults (YSA) to remember too. I'm not good with names but so far I have done pretty well.
Everyone kept telling me that this place is very different than all the others in Sweden and I would have to agree. The ward on Sunday just felt like I was at home in Utah. There are tons of members!! The ward is so big we share the area with Elders. We get so many member dinners too. We did our grocery shopping today and I spent like NO money. We almost never eat at home I feel like. Which is nice I'm a little sick of doing dishes. (I feel ya mom)
The one problem with this area... we eat at members houses, never walk or ride bikes, and we have a scale. Oh boy.. so they have public transportation that can get you anywhere!! Its amazing so less exercise and someone else picks my food and makes me eat a whole lot and I can't just ignore my weight and not think about it. In Halmstad we didn't have a scale and now I do. Wish me luck or say a prayer for me because I'm going to need it. Also because this area is really fast paced and I haven't been used to that lately. Well I hope I give myself more time next week to write.
Love you!!
Love Syster Sprague
