We have a baptismal date!!!

Hej!

How is everyone?? This week has been really good. We have a baptismal date!!! His name is Zaher and he is so ready its ridiculous. Not positive actually when he will ha ha we had to change his date already. It would have been this Saturday and we forgot that he needs to come to church twice. He has come its just been a while. We would've had two dates set but the other guy Tony isn't feeling ready yet. He is from Brazil so Swedish isn't his first language. Teaching him is interesting! We have watched a lot of movies and he has to read a lot. It is really hard to even do that though because we were told by the referral that he can not read. Slowly we have been finding more ideas to help him learn.

Friday after our teach we went out and saw the cookies and things the YSA's were making and I was dared to eat this.. thing. Ha ha I did and they have to buy me a kebab pizza now. It was pretty cool. The pizza here in Sweden is not the same as the states. I should take a picture of it for you.. it really big and thin and you can roll it to eat it ha ha and there is just like a ton of mean put on it with french fries and some sauce. So odd. Really good though.

Thursday after district meeting we listened to a talk given by Diana Holsher or something and its called the missionary next door. If you haven't listened to it you totally should! Its about being a member missionary and how and why and stuff. It was amazing. We are doing a fireside this Sunday for the YSA's. To help them know how to talk to their friends and talk about the church. It rocks. The woman talked about how peer pressure can actually be a good thing sometimes. That members (friends or family) should be the social conversion and the missionaries are the spiritual conversion. The best line is, "The missionaries don't care because they're gettin transferred."

Oh and in district meeting we talked about finding work and we read in Alma how people recognized him as a man God. We talked about doing everything we can to let people see that we are called of God also. So when we went out for the day just to visit a less active we had 5 people stop and talk to us. Like they stopped us. That doesn't happen here!!! Anything is possible  I'll let you know if anything comes from those people. We did get one number. He is a Muslim who is now a christian because Christ has come to him in a dream and helped him get off heroine.

Sunday was really fun.. ha ha they ask me to bear my testimony at the very last second. So of course I did. I was so nervous, which I know is absurd because I do it all the time. But not in another language in front of people who I have to like gain their trust. Well anyway I was super surprised I got up there and could say everything I wanted to!  I talked about relying on the Lord and when we do we can do anything we are expected. (learn Swedish.. bear my testimony when I'm not prompted)

Don't be afraid to try something new or something hard. With the Lord we can do anything. So go and do  but only as the Lord has commanded!
