Who done it??

Hello hello!!

My oh my... how the weeks go by. This week has been amazing with working with members. We almost had a member teach everyday and we visited a lot of members to get them excited about inviting friends to church. I was fighting a cold all week which had been quite draining but I feel much better now. Syster Schneiber just about got sick but she slipped by. She did a really good job of taking care of me and even though we traveled to Göteborg quite a bit this week I was shocked to look back and see all the success. We have been blessed many many times I know that much. We heard Friday from our zone leaders about this 40 day fast and S.Schneiber and me are totally down. We made goals the next day in weekly planning about what things we can sacrifice to help bring to pass these 70 baptisms this summer. We are going to try and be as obedient as we can. Especially when it comes to time. When we start and end things and wake up and go to bed. We are already seeing miracles. As far as the 2000 stripling contacts.. its going wonderfully! At this rate we will get our 4th of July party.

One of the biggest miracles I think that happened was a phone call we received Friday night. You'll never guess who came back to town?? MANAL! I really feel like she came to Sweden just for the gospel because she is going back and her and her husband are getting divorced so he will be moving to Boston, Massachusetts. She will only be here another 20 days and we are wondering.. do we baptize her? I realize she will go back and there is basically no church there.. but you have to start somewhere right. I guess it is going to be up to her. I would just hate to not do it when I KNOW that is what she needs and wants, but then again I would hate to baptize someone who will have no church to go to or support as a new convert and then to go inactive. Hmmm its a stuggle I have going on right now. We got to finally see her yesterday and we have missed her so much. She has convinced us we have to visit her someday.. I can't say it took a lot of convincing. We are going to be spending today with her.

I love when you just suddenly out of nowhere find someone who is interested. I seriously love it. I really wish every member wore a name tag too. We meet tons of people in Alingsås who are like oh.. I know them.. huh.... I never knew they were religious or were mormons. Haha there was one woman that was very reluctant to speak to us and as soon as she opened up and had a question there was no stoppping her. We stepped onto a bus and sat down and she followed us and didn't even sit. She stood the whole way just so she could speak with us. I was shocked! That is not a swedish thing to do at all!!! haha its like disturbing the peace to speak like that on a bus. Or the fact that she followed us. Then she gave us her name and addres and said to come see her. As we probably stood there looking stupid with our tongues tied she says would you like my number too. Ha awesome! I'm hoping she will actually meet us now.

Friday. What a day. We went to the institute to be apart of chill night with the single adults. The missionaries at the center needed a lot of help with the activity so there were a lot of areas there. We all were given a roll and script and we got costumes. Basically we played a life size game of Clue. It went so so well. Coolest activity I've done in my life really. A man named Mr.Boddy had been killed and the YSA had to come to the center 'mansion' and figure out which of his guests killed him on his birthday. S.Schneiber and I were maids who found the body, but did not kill him! Each room was decorated and they had to travel from room to room at the sound of the gong and listen to each story and figure out which weapon it was haha it was actually super difficult. No one got all 3 right. The room, weapon and person. I have realized from that night I like acting but not a serious character. I can't do serious. Sad to say but ditsy I can do.

President called around for transfers on Saturday. :)  We were not called. Pheeeww! Wednesday we actually watched a little bit of tv because it was Swedens national day and the king and his family were in stockholm celebrating and so we watch the program. It was interesting. I liked some of the performances and not so much for some of the others. Oh and Thursday I had a very tragic thing happen to me. We were coming back from lunch to have district meeting and a bird pooped in my hair. S.Tanner (from utah.. love her) got some plastic off the ground and got it out of my hair as best she could. If I could suggest to anyone.. dont get pooped on when your on a mission.. you can't just go home and shower. UGH! Fågel bajs i mitt hår!!

Thanks a billion for all your love and prayers!
Love Syster Sprague
