Talk about awesome!

Karä Syskon
So last week was a different schedule. We had P-day on Tuesday and played a lot of American Football and even some actual football as they call it here. Which really only makes sense... you play it with your feet. Ha ha it was so much fun! It was just two hand touch but people got really into it. My Zone Leader Äldste Olsen is going home to play for U of U. So he is good! I got to be captain for a few games and of course I picked him first haha. Just 2 sisters played. Me and Syster Dabb, she is amazing. Oh and one of the YSA's that does everything with the missionaries. She basically is one. Her name is Talitha and she is from Britain. So cool! She is going back actually and everyone is really sad about it. So after we played for like 4 hours we had a huge Thanksgiving feast at the institute center. Talk about awesome! There were 27 missionaries there.  Then we went on splits and I got to go with Syster Dabb. She is a contacting machine!! It was a lot of fun to work with another Syster and see how she works. THEN.. we met up with S. Kiser and S. Vistaunet for our sleep over before conference!

We had Zone Conference on Wednesday. It was an amazing meeting.. President Caussé spoke to us. This is bad ha ha I think he is part of the presidency of the seventy. We got a lot out of it and can't wait to implement his words into our work. We are really focusing on finding while teaching and teaching while finding. It is already helping. I would say besides members it is the best way to find people. My favorite quote or maybe two were both from our zone leaders that day.. First, "As a missionary in the Sweden Stockholm mission we baptize and if not we're not.. we are planning a baptism and if not.. we're planning how to plan for a baptism."-Ä. Jenkins Second, "The gospel is LOVE!"-Ä. Olsen (Olsen is from American Fork)

Yesterday was exciting to see Zaher get baptized. He is going to help a lot of Persians learn of the gospel. He is already going on teaches with the missionaries to translate and now he can count as a member! So on the way to church he hopped on the same bus as us and some of his persian friends a few more stops down. His friends were drinking coffee and he told them all about the word of wisdom before we got to the church. He is awesome! It was in Persian though.. ha ha so we don't know the whole conversation. S. Jenson really enjoyed seeing him get baptized because she taught him 8 months ago when she was here for the 1st time and he started recognizing the spirit and now she came back and he got baptized! Yesterday was also probably the windy-est day I have ever seen!! We could lean clear forward and not fall over. Ha ha I danced with the wind.

So working with less-actives is a lot what we do here at the center. We are working with a guy who is actually a returned missionary and has just let some of the big questions of the gospel become stumbling blocks. We are now reading in Jesus the Christ together as a companionship and with the less-active. We are learning so much. I love it!! Tack for the tea mom!! I know it was forever ago but it rocks. My companions and I drink tea every night during planning. (Dena sent cinnamon tea.) We love it. So far I only have 1 of the packages you've sent. I can't wait to open all of them. I love the 12 days of Christmas and they have scriptures on them.. that is awesome mom!! You put hard work into it. Thank you so much!

Spiced cold cider... sound good?? Its called Julmust. Its the popular Christmas drink here. I would have to say its not as bad as Coke but way worse than Dr.Pepper. And what kind of Cider or Christmas drink is cold and like soda.. weird swedes. I'm happy to only have 1 Christmas here because everyone loves it and they give ya lots of grief if you don't love it. And even if you don't you still have to drink it.

Love you all :)
Love Syster Sprague
