Insanity and my Birthday

Nära och Kära!!

I got the package from home with the Insanity work-outs. Crazy! We started doing them and Zumba too. I really enjoy doing stuff like that rather than just running. S.Ridl has done Insanity everyday since we got it. I'm way too sore to do it everyday.  Haha gotta mix it up. We finally got our scale back from the Elders and so I got to see how much I have gained because of Christmas. It had been almost 2 months since I weighed myself and lets just say being here in Göteborg has destroyed my body. Man I don't think I will ever be the same. I have a goal now to loose weight on the mission and all the YSA laugh at me ha ha. Its really hard when all the members feed you every night and everywhere you go you have to eat dessert. What is that???

So Tuesday was my birthday! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Ha ha I can't get on facebook but my mom copied and pasted all the comments. So thanks everyone! They were awesome. Can I just tell you how crazy my birthday was?? This is why it's so hard to not gain weight here.. I wake up and my companions made me a huge breakfast. It was wonderful! Healthy even ha ha then we go to the center later and they made me do language study while they cooked lunch. My companions then made Pizza for me. My district leaders and zone leaders came and celebrated too. The zone leaders made me semlor. Which is basically cake. They made mine absolutely HUGE and I had to eat it all haha. It was awesome though! So we all walked out of lunch so full we didn't need to eat for at least a day. One problem though we had a dinner that night with an awesome family so there is no way we would cancel. Its the Sahlin Family who had us over for Christmas. Annette is an amazing cook so we went and it was awesome but all of us were soooo full and then she pulls out another pan ha ha there was no way! We were like ugh.. sorry we're full. They even decorated for my birthday and gave me gifts! Oh so sweet then they cleaned up and came in singing with a cake that had a firework going off on it. SO COOL! Haha oh and they made 2 cakes. Not just one. Then... we went to the center where a bunch of the YSA got together and decorated and made me another cake. My companions opened my package from home and my mom had sent all the makings for a birthday party and so they took it all to the center without me knowing. Mette set it all up and made me my favorite cake. So sweet! Its amazing that you can be anywhere in the world and find friends and family. That is one blessing of the gospel. You can literally never be alone when you're a member. Or maybe just as a missionary ha ha. That is quite literal. Not sure how I will go home and be alone. I might go crazy. Well I just want to thank everyone for my amazing birthday... it was probably my most favorite ever! THANKS!!!

We had a super good week with investigators and things except there is one sad part of the week.. Tony hasn't met with us in forever and it makes me super sad. He had been super busy with work so we keep having to push back his baptism. Li on the other hand got baptized yesterday! It was absolutely amazing. He was truly prepared before we found him. He is a Chinese and awesome. He actually asked us when we first met if he could pray and the spirit was so strong we were all crying by the end. After the first teach we had a baptismal date for 3 weeks later and right before he moves back to China. The only sad part was he ended up in Utby's area, but that was perfect because there is a member there from China who helped him learn. I know when we do things the Lords way they always work out. He is always watching over us and guiding us even when we don't realize it.

Thanks for all the support and prayers!

Love Syster Sprague
